Tim Draper is founding partner of leading venture capital firms Draper Associates and DFJ.

Tim's original suggestion to use viral marketing in web-based email to geometrically spread an Internet product to its market was instrumental to the successes of Hotmail, YahooMail, and Gmail and has been adopted as a standard marketing technique by thousands of businesses.

Venture successes include Skype, Overture, Baidu, Tesla, Theranos, Parametric Technology, Hotmail, Digidesign, Twitch.tv, and hundreds of others.

As an advocate for entrepreneurs and free markets, Tim is regularly featured as a keynote speaker in entrepreneurial conferences throughout the world, has been recognized as a leader in his field through numerous awards and honors, and has frequent TV, radio, and headline appearances.

He was ranked 52 on the list of the 100 most influential Harvard Alumni, and seven on the Forbes Midas List. He was named Always-On #1 top venture capital deal maker. He was awarded the Commonwealth Club's Distinguished Citizen Award for achievements in green and sustainable energy.

To further encourage entrepreneurship, Tim  started BizWorld.org, a non-profit for children to learn entrepreneurship, Draper University of Heroes, a school for entrepreneurs 18-28, and he leads SixCalifornias, an initiative to improve the governance of California.

Philippe Collombel is a co-managing partner of Partech, responsible for the early stage fund. He joined early 2001.

Before joining Partech, Philippe managed the innovation and internet initiatives of the largest French retailer, Carrefour. He was the General Manager of its subsdiary e.carrefour.

Phillippe started his career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) from 1987 to 1998 where he became partner and participated in several major initiative such as the launching of the strategic services division in Europe.

Philippe currently serves on the board of Kantox, Lendix, Lima, Menlook, Milleporte, Qapa, Secret Sales and TVTY.

Philippe has a long track record of successful trade sales such as BrandforFriends (acq. by Ebay), Cartesis (acq. by Business Objects/SMP), Dailymotion (acq. by Orange), Qype (acq. by Yelp), Meiosys (acq. by IBM), Travelprice (acq. by Lastminute), TVTrip (acq. by. TravelClick).

Philippe is a graduate of the “Institut d’Etudes Politiques” of Paris and of the Kellogg Graduate School of Business. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Philippe has three children.

Eyal Niv is Managing General Partner at Pitango, Isreal's leading venture capital fund.

He is also Managing Director who joined Giza in 2000 and has been active in Giza II, Giza III, Giza IV and Giza V, specifically in the semiconductor, mobile communications and Internet sectors. He is involved in initial screening, due diligence and portfolio company business development and is on the boards of Crosswise, LogZ, Pebbles, Lucid, CallApp, CareDox and AdExtent. He has led or co-led investments in XtremIO (acquired by EMC), Oplus (acquired by Intel), Altair, Lucid and Cyota (acquired by RSA).

Prior to joining Giza, Eyal was a financial analyst at Giza Financial Advisory where he focused on economic evaluations and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he co-founded Super Computers Ltd., a firm specializing in medical database software for research centers.

Eyal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in corporate finance and actuarial science from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Ms. Ametsreiter studied Business Administration in Vienna and California, US. She obtained deep experience in the Telecom field working for sixteen years with Telekom Austria Group in different Marketing and General Management positions. During that time she was the President of the management board of VIPnet, the first private mobile operator in Croatia. Besides Ms. Ametsreiter was appointed to several supervisory board functions and signed responsible for the commercial sector of 8 countries.

From March 2011 Ms. Ametsreiter was heading the corporate sustainability department at OMV AG, one of Austria’s largest listed industrial companies. Since 2014 Ms. Ametsreiter is partner of Speedinvest - Austrias leading Venture Capital Fund. Speedinvest with offices in Vienna and Silicon Valley is investing in digital startups in the CEE region.

Jure Leskovec is co-founder of a machine learning startup Kosei which was recently acquired by Pinterest.

At Pinterest he works as a Chief Scientist Officer.

He is assistant professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and chief scientist at Pinterest. His work focuses on machine learning and data mining in social and information networks. Problems he investigates are motivated by large-scale data, the Web and on-line media. This research has won several awards including a Lagrange Prize, Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship, the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, and numerous best paper awards.

Leskovec received his bachelor's degree in computer science from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and his PhD in in machine learning from the Carnegie Mellon University and postdoctoral training at Cornell University

Jure Mikuz has established the first Slovenia-based VC Fund, raising private commitments from domestic industrial investors. He serves on several boards of the investee companies, including Celtra, Degordian and 4thOffice.

Jure is actively promoting entrepreneurship and regularly holds lectures on finance and fundraising prodeedures for the startup communities in Slovenia and accross the Balkans.

Prior to establishing RSG Capital he was a deputy head of asset management in KD Group and stock broker on the Ljubljana stock exchange. Jure holds MBA from the University of Ljubljana.

Robert envisioned the product after he spoke to broadcasters in the Adriatic region who needed something new to monitor TV audiences to their needs. Robert is a serial Entrepreneur and TVbeat is Robert’s 4th start­up (1 failed, 1 sold, 1 pivoted). Robert has been selected twice for prestigious incubator programs. In 2011 he graduated from Ycombinator in Palo Alto with Doublercall, and in 2013 he graduated from Techstars in London with with Iptvbeat (re branded since to TVbeat). He has a passion for new products, innovation and filling market gaps. Robert’s ability to lead engineering teams to design the impossible is second to none.

Ali Karabey is a Managing Director at 212 focusing on investments in internet, communication and technology companies. Ali currently serves on the boards of Solvoyo, Software as a Service provider of advanced supply chain optimization software, Hazinem.com, online jewelry store, and Parcadeposu.com, Turkey's largest online B2B marketplace for auto parts. 

After graduating from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Ali resumed his career in Arthur Andersen's New York office in the Corporate Finance department, executing mid-market transactions in technology, media and telecommunications industries. In 2002 he joined Morgan Stanley Capital International to manage North American and European finance teams consecutively. Meanwhile he was involved in the valuation, due diligence, and the post-acquisition integration of acquisition targets. 

After Morgan Stanley Ali transferred to Deutsche Bank to focus on the Bank's principal investments. 

Prior to 212, Ali moved back to Istanbul in 2008 and started consulting clients in the government and private sector on Project Finance & Private Equity Advisory projects. 

Ali currently serves on the Endeavor Advisory Board.

Jerry is General Partner of the Hardware Club, a private global community for hardware entrepreneurs that has gathered 100+ exciting hardware startups from 20 different countries, including Misfit Wearables, Thync, Prynt, Click & Grow, Reach Robotics, etc. The Hardware Club provides capital investments as well as manufacturing and retail resources to its member startups, for which it has partnered with prestigious EMS firms (Foxconn, Pegatron, Jabil, Quanta, Compal, etc) and retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, Brookstone, Target, Media Saturn, Citadium, etc).

Before jumping to the dark side of venture investments, Jerry had been in Analog IC Design for more than a decade after receiving his Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University. His engineering career, including 4 entrepreneurial years, spanned across Taiwan and Silicon Valley, where he last worked for Qualcomm/Atheros in San Jose.

Jerry obtained his MBA degree from HEC Paris. He has also passed all three levels of the CFA Program on the first try within 18 months.

Jaka Lindič is a serial entrepreneur, business angel, professor and a researcher specialized in lean approaches to innovation and business model innovation. He is a professor at Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana and a visiting scholar at Berkeley, USA, where he also participated in the SkyDeck incubator.

Among companies from his portfolio are Danu - largest network of parenting portals, eSchool - SaaS solution for schools, Xooltime - a platform for efficient learning that integrates parents in the process and Doctrina - an online platform for pharmacies. 

Peter Globokar helped launch the London office in 2006, and works in all of the firm’s industry practice groups. He has completed transactions for companies engaged in mobile communications technology, digital media, semiconductor and electronics, and application software. Peter has played key role in the growth of the firm’s European practice having completed M&A transactions for companies across the Nordics as well as in France, Germany, Italy, England, Ireland and Israel. Peter is fluent in French, German, English and Slovenian. Before joining Mooreland, Peter was head of European technology corporate finance at Nomura. Previously, Peter worked at Broadview International predominantly in the firm’s communications equipment and microelectronics M&A groups. Peter began his career as an investment manager in a Central European private equity fund sponsored by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) where he focused on turn-around investing in industrial companies. Peter is a graduate of ESCP Europe and received a BSc in electronics and engineering sciences from Paris University.

Boštjan is the CEO of 4th Office, the next generation communication platform, that helps people and teams stay effective in dealing with their email networks.  He is passionate about technology and effective working, and is leading a team that is working tirelessly to outsmart Slack, Yammer and others trying to build the next big thing in communications. Privately he is a father to 3 kids, the number one Quarterback at the companies American football tournaments and a die hard Liverpool fan.

Laszlo R. Czirjak is Co-Founder, Co-Managing Partner at iEurope Capital, a private equity/venture capital fund management firm. Investment and board role experience includes successfully building businesses in services, Internet, software, manufacturing and media including: ATech, Autohop, Tjobs, Vatera, Wunder and many others. Earlier was Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company/BT Alex Brown in the London Investment Bank. Also not for profit current or past Chairman and/or board roles at American Chamber of Commerce, Fulbright Foundation, United Way Resource Foundation, and Columbia University Club. Received an MBA and BS in Industrial Engineering, both with honors, from Columbia University in New York.

Luka is an investment manager and business developer of hub:raum CEE, a startup incubator backed by Deutsche Telekom Group that focuses on supporting innovative businesses from southern and central Europe. Prior to hub:raum Luka has been working in innovations department of Croatian Telekom on IPTV, OTT and new business telco projects. He has a strong background in entrepreneurship, previously building businesses and startups in various fields from mobile to digital media, e-commerce and more. He is a consultant and a professional lecturer in area of a mobile and digital business development helping new start-ups and ideas to prosper. He is constantly traveling central and south east europe with special focus on the Balkans region trying to help ambitious entrepreneurs and founders.

Jan Habermann is a founding partner of Credo Ventures, a Central European early stage technology oriented venture capital firm based in Prague, Czech Republic. As a Partner, Jan is responsible for building pipeline of deals, monitoring and supporting his portfolio companies and he also supervises the fund operations and reporting to the limited partners. Jan is interested in early stage B2B oriented companies using internet and technologies to provide unique services to its customers. In particular he likes opportunities in ad-tech, media and data&analytics and education. Jan is a member of Kauffman Fellowship, a highly sought-after program and network dedicated to the world of innovation investing.

Served as CTO in 5 technology startups. While working for over 20 years in software development Nebojsa gained broad experience in various technologies, ranging from mobile to enterprise cloud applications. Currently he's one of the Partners and in charge of the program in StartLabs, a San Francisco based early stage fund, investing in great entrepreneurs from the Southeastern Europe.

Marcus is Head of Telefónica Open Future_ in the UK where his focus is upon expanding Telefónica's Open Future_ initiatives both in the UK and internationally. He forms and manages partnerships with organisations that are keen to foment entrepreneurial ecosystems, as well as delivering the programme of world-class acceleration services to those entrepreneurs who are part of the related initiatives. Formerly a Special Adviser to HRH The Duke of York, KG, Marcus, helped run The Duke’s programme for UK entrepreneurs, Pitch@Palace, as well as launching the regional component, Pitch@Palace On Tour. Previously, Marcus was the Acceleration Manager at Wayra UK where he developed the acceleration model that is used across Wayra’s programmes globally, as well as working with the start-ups to improve product-market fit and to raise third-party investment; Wayra UK companies have raised >$60M in thirdparty funding. Marcus also developed Wayra UK’s investment network forging relationships with pan-European players such as AccelPartners, Balderton Capital, Cambridge Business Angels, Index Ventures, London Business Angels, Octopus Investments, PROfounders Capital etc. Marcus graduated with a degree in French and German from University College London (UCL). He is a Non-Executive Director of one of London’s leading educational social enterprises, Debate Mate, and is one of Telefónica’s One Young World Ambassadors.

Previously Bakhrom was leading investments in European and the US technology companies with Virgin Green Fund as a Founding Principal and TLcom Capital as Investment Director. Bakhrom also was Internet Finance Director and Associate Director of Planning and Analysis in Virgin Media. Bakhrom started his career as technology investment banker with Cowen & Co and CSFB/DLJ. Bakhrom holds two Master degrees on academic scholarships from the London School of Economics and Cambridge University, and an honors Bachelor degree from Tashkent State Technical University in Uzbekistan.

Grega Trobec is the CEO and founder of Styliff, a mobile dressing room app that allows you to virtually try on hundreds of clothes in a matter of seconds.

He is responsible for the company's vision, strategy and product design. He strives to bring magic to life through simple yet beautiful solutions.

Prior to founding Styliff, Grega was the lead graphic artist for three years at a Danish video game company Bl-Logic. He studied Business and Economics at University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and Poznan University of Economics (Poland).

Styliff Story

Styliff is a brainchild of Grega Trobec, a young Slovenian who had a simple desire to try on clothes using a mobile app.

Styliff Inc was formed in 2014 in Florida, US, by Grega and his college flatmate Lucas Castro from Brazil. Shortly afterwards, a development team was assembled consisting of experienced developers who had worked at Google, Samsung, Intel and Nasa Ames.

In 2015, Eva Ana Kazič, a highly regarded fashion consultant, designer and blogger with a vast following of her own, joined the company as the Fashion Director.

Styliff has an international team with offices in San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Ljubljana.
